I adore this photograph. I came across it whilst reading about the 2007 Lebanon evacuation, on the BBC news site. It shows a British expat thanking a British Embassy official who was working to evacuate the expats from the strife-ridden Lebanon provinces when Hezballoh were bombing the shit out of everywhere. I just thought it is a great photograph expressing the warmth and mutuality of the human spirit, as well as gratitude.
