I love, love, love this photograph and think it is perfect aesthetcially. I mean, fucking look at the hue, tone, saturation, ISO, granality, it's all amazing. This photograph was taken by Terry Richardson for Nylon magazine, June/July 2001. Great picture. The shoes are Marc Jacobs btw.
Nike's Cortez in a brilliant turquoise, yellow, red combination.
I remembered at the time thinking this was a great image...terrible injury obviously. Although Michael Owen seemingly has the knees of a ninety year old nan. Great juxtaposition between the red of the England shirt, the almost synthetic green of the pitch and the coke-white sidelines. Euro 2006.
